First I’d like to introduce you to Vélo Culture run by Bev Blakeman from Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. We found Vélo Culture a few months back and ended up doing a hand made swap (badges for a wash bag) and this little wash bag has travelled the country & the world with us already.
Vélo Culture up cycle Bike parts & inner tubes into a whole bunch of innovative products, from belts to the aforementioned Wash Bag, purses & wallets and a whole host of other unique products. The Wash Bag Bev sent us was made with a blue zip & stitching & looks amazing. It’s so tough & hardwearing, so far it’s visited Europe & most corners of the UK and has proved to be far superior to my previous old leather bag. Plus it’s made out of Rubber, Bonus!
I love the fact that the products are hand made & from up-cycled materials. It looks fab in our bathroom & surprisingly has garnered a lot of attention from friends & family. I’m hoping to grab a few more bits from the Vélo Culture etsy store for christmas presents.
