A Day in the Life of Koolbadges

We are still in Scotland & will be for a couple more months, then on to house/flat hunting in Manchester. Looking forward to being back in the city, we have missed the hussle & bussle so much. We want to be in our new place in plenty of time for the Christmas Badge rush.

Here is a round us of the badge orders i remembered to photograph. I always seem to forget.

We have had quite a few orders & enquiries for Halloween & Christmas Button Badges, so get in before we get super busy. It pays to be prepared (i need to remember that too).

OK so if you have an iphone & do not have Instagram then i think you have either been asleep for 100 years of living on the moon. I am so addicted to it. It lets you take pictures & edit them – with all kinds of filters & colours.

Here are a few of mine. Mostly badges, but hey i am a badge maker.

 

So i urge you to get Instagram & add me. Its a fun easy way of making your photos look cool.

The studio is alive with the sound of printing! Here are a few of what has gone out this week or so. Oh & a few people have already ordered some Halloween Badges – how organised are they. Much more so than me, that is for sure.

 

My Mum only lives 12 miles from St Andrews & I am embarrassed to say we have never been before. So we put that right & went for a visit.

They have a beautiful University that is world renowned, a Castle & a Cathedral that dates back to the 12th century. St Andrews is also located on the Scotlands north east coastline & even tho’ slightly chilly it has some of most stunning beaches & coastal walks.

So we ran an advert in Kerrang Magazine this past week – who saw it? This has meant we have been alot busier than usual. Infact we have been burning the midnight oil trying to get badges out on time. Here are a few orders from the last few days or so.

This post has been a long time coming. What with the move & house hunting i have not got round to posting it. So back in April my family took a trip to London for my mums birthday & also to watch my little brother run the London Marathon for the 2nd year. He must be mad going back for a second time.

London did not let us down we had great weather all weekend. My mum went to see a show (We Will Rock You) & the rest of us did enough shopping to bring about an end to the recession.

We had a wonderful time in the big smoke & my brother ran the Marathon in a PB of 3hrs 45 mins.

We have moved from Cornwall back up North & are currently looking for a new pad. Here are some of the badges we have been making over the past month.

 

We LOVE LOVE making Hen Party Badges – & spreading the Love. Here are a few that we have made this month so far.

 

So on Saturday we went on a little jolly to Falmouth. We struck gold with a beautiful Spring Day.

Our Landlord is selling the Barn we rent :o( So we have been a little stressed here for a few days trying to figure out the best way forward. I think we are getting closer to a decision.?Ǭ† But it was nice to spend the day in Falmouth not thinking about moving house.

We ran a 50% Sale & we have been kept very busy getting orders out. So thankyou to our lovely customers for making it a great sale.
