We are knee-deep in badges at the koolbadges workshop! We have the Christmas tree up and the decorations out. The house is looking mighty festive. Just a short post as we have some orders that need to be rushed out and so must crack on! No rest for the wicked. 😉

How does Christmas come round so quick? I thought I was prepared this year. How wrong was I! I have been so busy. We have had a lot of bulk Christmas badge orders. I have been working like Santa’s little helper.
We are still in Scotland, trying to relax and visit family, in between making badges. Everyone has been helping, writing envelopes and doing post office runs.
We have put together a little notice to help you with last shipping dates. We do recommend that you purchase early to ensure your badges arrive in plenty of time.
We made it to Scotland in record time & John even did a bit of the driving, gave me a rest. The weather was foggy, and it was really hard to see!!! We woke this morning to our first snow this year. It’s like a winter wonderland out there. I have taken some snaps.
I have had to rope my mum and brother in to helping me make the badges this week as we have been that busy with Xmas orders.

Sorry, I have been a bit absent of late. I have been so busy in the koolbadges workshop! Halloween has been CRAZY & I thought I was prepared. How off was I. We have got so many nice emails & comments over the past few weeks, people loving the Halloween Badges & lots of custom orders. So thanks to all the koolbadges customers you’re all GREAT & without you spreading the button badge love we would be a lonely quiet workshop XX.
So it was my 30th birthday last week & I had a relaxing day. Lunch out & a long walk in the country. Perfect. I got lots of cards, emails & birthday wishes. xx
It sure is chilly outside. Autumn is by far my favourite season. It might have something to do with the fact it’s my birthday & I turn 30 this year! Wooohoo for me. No, but I love the cold evenings, all wrapped up in hat coats & gloves, also the yummy autumn colours. Golds, oranges & brown & the leaves falling off the trees! It’s great.
So we went to Manchester the other day, so John could hand in his thesis, the last piece of work for his Masters, we got stuck in a horrendous traffic jam on the motorway. The traffic was at a standstill for over 2 hours, UURRRGGHHHHH. Then we rushed and got his work bound, 2 copies & there was a queue for that, then we ran like the wind to the office only to find they closed at 3.30!!!!!! OMG was I mad. What kind of working hours are the 10–3.30. Crazy.
John (my lovely husband) is handing in his thesis tomorrow: for his Masters. He has been working on it since May. We are getting up bright and early so we can go and have it bound (2 copies) and hand it in to the university. Then it will be the end of another chapter, it’s been a stressful year & I think we will both let out a big sigh of relief tomorrow! He has to wait a little while on the results, but I have every faith that he will get his MSC, he has worked hard enough.
Oh, & we are having lunch at Wagamama to celebrate, it’s my fave place to eat and since leaving my job (which was next door) in May I haven’t eaten there, oh no wait that’s a little lie, I went with my friend in Cambridge. Well, let’s just say I haven’t been back to this one since leaving my job. So I am already thinking about what I am going to order!!! I might get something new …. Yeah, right!!!!
We are busy getting ready for Halloween. We have had a lot of orders already. So we are trying to stay on top of the orders. We LOVE Halloween over at koolbadges & it seems that our customers do too. We are sending out a free Halloween badge with every order from now until Halloween!!!

Halloween At Koolbadges
What a beautiful week we have had, lovely long warm summer evenings. It’s so nice to get out and about when it’s warm and dry. Make the most of it. That’s what I say!
So, our good friends Emma and Andy headed home late on Sunday evening. We had a great lazy weekend. Catching up & watching movies. No rest for me and John though, as no sooner had Emma and Andy gone home, that my mum and auntie came to stay (and are still here) they are heading home on Monday. We have been really lucky with the weather! We went to Croxteth Hall in Liverpool, we have a great time.
I shouldn’t really be on the computer as we have guests, Emma and Andy are up for the weekend from London. We have been out and about most of the weekend, but the men have put on the Grand Prix, so the girls are off out to the craft shop (very excited about that).
I have been busy making badges, even tho we have guests. Koolbadges waits for no man!!! We have customers that need their badges on the double, so I have been making alien badges for most of the weekend.
